Oh, yeah... and religion.
It's all such a bore. The imperious need to be right. The surety that one is indeed right--
I cannot speak for how others grew up, or what other's parents and schoolteachers told them, or even what they all think today.
I know that I grew up a Catholic kid. I believed in God. I liked incense, Latin Masses, and even the nuns who taught me.
I was in no way confused about Adam and Eve's role in my life when I was introduced to Darwinism, by Sr. John Mary, one blustery spring day. I did not turn away from Noah's Ark upon being shown graphs of species crawling out of the water and gradually turning into, well, me.
The more the merrier, I say. Whatever works, I suggest. Because the fact is, no one knows anything absolutely.
Besides, we keep on going and changing and having an opinion. God knows what these infants will have to say about it. But have an opinion they most certainly will.
